Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a treatable but incurable and complex condition. Children and adolescents predominantly are affected, with onset typically between ages 3 and 7 years.1 However, given the lifelong qualities of the condition, adults also exhibit ADHD symptoms.
