Abstract
The editors of Alternative and Complementary Therapies invited a panel of experts in the field of integrative pediatrics to respond to a number of questions about health care for children. The panel consisted of Kathi J. Kemper, M.D., M.P.H., the Caryl J. Guth Chair for Complementary and Integrative Medicine, and a professor in the department of pediatrics and public health sciences at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Lawrence (Larry) D. Rosen, M.D., in private practice at The Whole Child Center in Oradell, New Jersey; Scott Shannon, M.D., an assistant clinical professor and the founder of the Integrative Child Psychiatry Clinic at Children’s Hospital, the University of Colorado in Denver; and Sunita Vohra, M.D., an associate professor on the faculty of medicine and dentistry and the director of the CARE Program at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
